..Will be Saturday, October 18! This fun, all-family event is a great opportunity to meet other Culkin School families, see what your dancer has learned, and have a great time! We will have our ever-popular wine raffle, a silent raffle (so please secure a donation if you can!), and we need lots of volunteers. Fliers will be given out in class and sign up sheets are in each class as well. Flier is also available on the Yahoo group, go to "files" and look for "ceili flier 2008."
Can't find the One More Time CD you got with registration?
Played it so many times it's scratched?
Suggesting practice music to your friends or family who don't go to the Culkin School?
Well, no worries as the Culkin School's CD One More Time is now available for purchase and download online through iTunes. Just go to the iTunes store and search for "Culkin School" and you'll find the CD.
It's time to get ready for the Feis Culkin Bake Sale!!
Feis Culkin is almost here and it is time to start thinking about what delicious baked goods we can make and sell for the Bake Sale. We have sold almost everything at the last 3 bake sales and this year surely will be no exception!
We are looking for donations of cookies, bars, muffins, breads, and fruits such as bananas, apples, and oranges. Whole cakes and pies are welcome too! Cookies and bar cookies should be put in baggies of 2 or 3 in each bag and a muffin or two in a bag depending on the size. Pre-made items such as Costco muffins or individually packaged cookies or treats are also welcome. If you'd like to donate money towards the purchase of baked goods, that can be done as well.
We also need volunteers to staff the bake sale table. If you could give a half hour or an hour to help sell items, that would be great. Many hands make few missed dances! Teens are welcome to help and receive service hours for their efforts.
If you have any questions or would like to volunteer please visit the Yahoo! group and contact Kara Mason (you can reply to the Bake Sale email there).
Ordering for the Culkin School tracksuit is being taken now through October 20! Given that so many of our dancers will be participating in this year's Regional Oireachtas in Orlando as well as receiving many parental requests for needing longer pants due to recent growth spurts over the summer, we figured this would be a good time to place another order for our lovely, sporty track suits!
The order forms are below, or available through the Yahoo! group files page. Please note that this year we are offering you the option of buying separates! You are not locked into buying the entire track suit. Pants ONLY cost $35, Jacket only costs $65 and the entire suit will cost $100. Look for some samples at your classes.
Feel free to fill in the form below OR fill out a form at classes. The deadline for accepting orders is October 20 and no later. This is to ensure that we get the suits in time for our Oireachtas departure and BEFORE Thanksgiving.
It's that time of the year! Information about the stage building on November 1 and stage take-down on November 2 in the Yahoo! calendar and database. Here's a quick summary, however, please sign up in the database section of the Yahoo! group if you can lend a helping hand. The more the merrier (and the faster!).

The mailing contains your letter listing the class(es) your dancer(s) is signed up for, some of your demographic information (addresses, phone numbers and emails) and a record of your account. It also contains your tuition payment coupons; the first installment is due September 10. And lastly it has the emergency contact form for this year and a short newsletter full of "save the dates."

Adult Open Gym returns to Hughes this summer! Sessions will be held for all levels of adult dancers on Wednesday evenings from 8:00 to 10:00pm beginning June 25 and ending August 27. The idea of these sessions is to work on and refine material dancers already have.
The cost is $10 per session and a minimum of 10 dancers is needed for each session. If we don’t have enough dancers registered in advance for a particular night, we will have to cancel that date.
Please download a registration form and return it to reserve your space.
