St Patrick's Day

The “traditional style” of this dance is to perform the 1st step right and left, then the set right and left, and then another (last) step right and left. Some may say that another step and set and last step could be done as well. However this is what Peggy taught me, and this is the way we do it.

This tradition has been lost at most of the Irish dance schools in the US due to the fact that at feisanna, only the 1st step, right and left, and the set, right only, is required.

The way it is written out here is the way I say it in class. This is meant to be helpful reminder NOT an instructional guide. (The video will be coming this fall!!!)
